Lynda Carter is an American singer and actress is worth in excess of $10 million. Lynda Carter was named Miss World USA 1972 but she is most well-known for her role as the lead in the live-action TV show "Wonder Woman,"" which is based on the DC comic book. Carter also appears in films like "Super Troopers", "Sky High," or "The Dukes of Hazzard" and in many made-for-television television films such "Daddy", "Hotline," and "Slayer." Lynda Carter was the daughter of Colby and Juanita Carter in Phoenix, Arizona in 1951. Her parents are of English and Scots-Irish heritage from her father's side, and also of Mexican, Spanish, and French heritage on her mother's side. Carter is the sister of Vincent and Pamela. Her first appearance on television was when she was just five on "Lew King's Talent Show." Her high school days were when she joined two bands and performed at a Las Vegas lounge. Carter attended Arizona State University for college but chose to pursue a career in music. She left The Garfin Gathering in 1972 to pursue a career in acting.
