Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew up in Mexico with a family that was devoted to music. Her childhood was spent listening to traditional, old boleros and classic romantic songs and the Ranchero style. Ana loves tangos, operas and other dramatic performances. Ana started learning how to sing and play music in the early years alongside her mother. She was given more formal vocal training when she was 16 years old, under the legendary Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. She continued her musical studies at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and later in the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. Her early professional career included performances with a variety of orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. After relocating into California in United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present residence in the southern part of California. She is a frequent soloist at events, private parties and other occasions, performing traditional Latin American Music. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for various community-based projects because of her passion and passion for music. Ana has also been a former member of Community Chorus of Redlands as in addition to members of the Inland Master Chorale and Performance Loft. Ana appreciates having the chance to share her passion and love for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations in order to keep this music vibrant and alive.Viva Mexico!
